Our Greek breakfast

The spacious breakfast lounge (The Olive Hall) operates daily from 08:00” until 11:00”. From here you will start an other restful vacation day with a sumptuous breakfast chosen from the buffet, which is always full. A lovely feature in this area is the mature olive tree in the centre of the room.

The covered veranda in front of the breakfast lounge –with views to the sea and the swimming pool– is also available to those clients wishing to enjoy their breakfast outdoors.

We participate in the  “Greek Breakfast” program

Guests can start their day with coffee (Greek, filter, espresso, cappuccino, instant and cold), tea in various flavors, juice and our own fresh orange or lemon juice. The buffet includes a wide selection of bread products such as three types of fresh bread, various rusks, toasts, our own cakes and cookies, three kinds of cereals, dried nuts and of course dried plums of Skopelos.

The traditional pies are really worth tasting and in particular the traditional cheese pie of Skopelos, the pie with greens, the onion pie and the “fouskopita” pie filled with fresh local cheese or “katiki”-“galotyri” cheese of Skopelos. Dairy products, milk, yellow cheeses, a selection of cured meats are served every day as well as eggs cooked in a different way every day (fried, boiled, omelet, “avgofetes” (French toast) and “strapatsada” (eggs and tomato).

Guests can have yoghurt from Skopelos with compote or plum jam. The traditional spoon sweets, the halva, the “ryzogalo” (rice pudding) and the “loukoumades” (honey puffs) with honey and walnuts of Skopelos are not to be missed.
